Modern Comments Radio: July 27, 2016

Modern Comments Radio is LIVE Wednesday night on Vigilant Liberty Radio and your host, Amy Curtis, has lots of news to share and discuss with you!

First, she will talk about the terror attack in Normandy that saw 86-year-old Fr. Jacques Hamel killed, his throat slit, by jihadists who were known to French authorities. This comes after multiple attacks in Germany during the past two weeks. French President Sarkozy has called for a “merciless” response while, in Germany, authorities are mulling over stricter gun laws and military stationed in homes.

But don’t worry! US Secretary of State John Kerry is making sure we’re protected from…the scourge of central air conditioning, which he says is as bad as ISIS.

Gigi Kurtz, a 15-year employee of Loyola Marymount University, was reinstated to her job after being suspended for the “hate crime” of explaining Catholic teaching to LGBTQ students.

David Daleiden, the man behind the Center for Medical Progress’s undercover Planned Parenthood videos, saw a judge drop remaining charges against him. Daleiden was charged with organ trafficking and tampering with a government record, a felony, while Harris County prosecutors brought no charges against Planned Parenthood.

Research group Florida TaxWatch says ex-cons need jobs, and that jobs reduce the number of offenders who return to prison.

Democrat congressman and Senate candidate Alan Grayson’s ex-wife is claiming he abused her for two decades, a claim Grayson denies, and Grayson is now losing endorsements because of the allegations. Grayson was also in a confrontation with a reporter who was asking him questions about the abuse.

And, on the lighter side of things, a pro-oil group is apologizing for a racy ad.

You won’t want to miss a minute of it, so tune in at 10pm Eastern/9pm Central right here on Vigilant Liberty Radio for the Modern Comments Radio Show!
