UPDATE: REPLAY ADDED BELOW!
ISIS in Syria, Ebola in Dallas, elections coming up in three weeks…it seems like the world is turned on its head, no?
We’re going to talk about North Korea — Kim Jong Un vanished from the public eye for over a month. Speculation as to why he was gone ranged from a coup to health issues. But now he’s back, according to sources, and what does this mean for international relations with North Korea?
And this week the Little Tyranny segment returns…with a tyranny that’s not so little. Since the Supreme Court declined to hear several states’ same-sex marriage appeals last week, same-sex marriage is now legal in many states. Critics and even many supporters of same sex marriage are concerned this issue may now be used to punish and persecute religious institutions that do not recognize those unions. In Houston, Texas, pastors have been ordered to turn over “all speeches, presentations, or sermons related to HERO, the Petition, Mayor Annise Parker, homosexuality, or gender identity prepared by, delivered by, revised by, or approved by you or in your possession.” What should conservatives and liberty-minded folk do to address this?
Also — the White House has given Democrats permission to criticize Obama before the midterms without fear of “retribution” (that may not have worked so well for Allison Grimes in KY) and decisions and action on key areas of concern for voters (the AG replacement, Obamacare premiums, immigration reform) are not going to happen until afterNovember 4. Join us as we discuss why this is happening and why it’s incredible in its brazenness.
